La Ferme du Nant

Set high on the slopes of the Ville du Nant , a peaceful hamlet between the lively ski resorts of Chatel and La Chapelle d’Abondance, la Ferme du Nant takes pride of place. This beautiful old farmhouse which once housed cattle was lovingly restored 5 years ago and now offers luxury, comfort & spaciousness which can only be found in properties of this nature.

La Ferme du Nant is offered on a fully catered basis and your day starts with a choice of continental or cooked breakfast whilst your skis and boots are loaded into the minibus. You are driven to the slopes and guided around the Portes du Soleil ski region. We will also book restaurants for lunch so that you can all meet up and swap stories. At the end of the day you are driven back to la Ferme.

Your evening begins with drinks and canapés served in the large sitting room, which has panoramic views across the Mont de Grange nature reserve. This is followed by a 4 course gourmet evening meal complete with wines chosen by our sommelier.

La Ferme du Nant offers 6 en-suite bedrooms all of which can have either twin beds or king-size doubles thanks to the ingenious design of the beds. Two of these rooms are family rooms with  additional full size bunk beds and all rooms can  have an extra bed if necessary.

La Ferme can accommodate up to 20 people with plenty of eating and living space for this not to distract from the comfort of the property.

La Ferme du Nant

La Ferme du Chateau, originally built in 1680, has undergone an extensive renovation program over the last 18 months and offers 5 ensuite bedrooms and a large open plan living and dining area featuring a traditional wood clad fireplace as the centrepiece. La Ferme du Chateau has been renovated with comfort, luxury and homeliness as the prime concerns. It is offered on a fully catered basis which includes cooked Engish breakfast, afternoon tea with homemade cakes and biscuits, and 4 course evening meal with wine.

La Ferme du Chateau is in the centre of the lovely village of La Chapelle d’Abondance within easy walking distance of all bars (including a real ale pub) restaurants and amenities plus the ski area of Cret Beni and a large selection of routes for the cross country skier and is a short drive to the slopes of Chatel and the rest of the Portes du Soleil.

Being in the centre of this vast ski area means that we can choose each day where to ski from, and you will be driven to the slopes each morning, guided on 4 days, collected each evening from the slopes and driven back to the farmhouse ready for tea, or if you prefer stopping at one of the numerous bars for a spot of après ski fun.
